The Monash Herald is an independent local news publication dedicated to the people, places and issues shaping the City of Monash.

We believe strong communities deserve strong local journalism. Our purpose is simple: to provide Monash residents with credible, relevant and engaging reporting that keeps them informed about what is happening in their own neighbourhoods.

From council decisions and major infrastructure projects to local business, property, sport, schools, community organisations and the people who make Monash what it is, the Monash Herald focuses on stories with a genuine local impact.

Our reporting extends across Glen Waverley, Mount Waverley, Mulgrave, Wheelers Hill, Clayton, Oakleigh, Hughesdale, Huntingdale, Notting Hill, Chadstone, Ashwood and the wider Monash community.

The Monash Herald maintains its own editorial identity and day-to-day operations, with a focus on independent local reporting and community affairs.

The Monash Herald is the official publication of the GR Foundation and operates on a not-for-profit basis.
